Tennessee Titans Hello Kuharsky's people.
Tennessee Titans I am here for the week while your fearless leader ponders the
meaning of life. In his honor, we'll start with a World Cup read today. Tennessee
Titans If you missed yesterday's gut-wrenching 2-2 draw (it turns out draws can
be gut wrenching), Tennessee Titans the US Men's National Team had a chance to
advance out of group play with a win. Instead, nothing is decided in their
group. They'll play Germany
next and Grant Wahl of Sports Illustrated has a great feature on the American
team's German influence. Five of the team's players are German American
with American military fathers and German mothers. Titans linebackers Wesley
Woodyard and Avery Williamson developed a connection while
Williamson was still in college. Now the two former Kentucky linebackers are bonding with the
Titans, writes John Glennon of The Tennessean. "He accepts all the
coaching I give him, but one thing I also tell him is to coach me,"
Woodyard said. "If there's something I'm not doing right, I tell him to
tell me, and I think that's a good way to keep him tuned in all the time."
The NFL's dark period is upon us (which doesn't make RTCs easy) and Titans
players know they have to spend their time off wisely, Tennessee Titans writes
Megan Grindstaff of the Tennessean. "It boils down to taking care of your
body and doing whatever you can to stay accountable to these guys here,"
safety Bernard Pollard said. Will Lomas of MusicCityMiracles wonders just
how thin the Titans are at wide receiver. Beyond Justin Hunter, Tennessee
Titans Nate Washington and Kendall Wright, Tennessee Titans he
has concerns. Having three productive receivers isn't bad, though, Tennessee
Titans.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- The
Tennessee Titans have agreed to terms with sixth-round draft pick Zach
Mettenberger and fifth-round selection Avery Williamson.
Mettenberger
threw for 3,082 yards and 22 touchdowns at LSU last season and ranked
fourth nationally in passing efficiency. Mettenberger passed for 5,783
yards and 35 touchdowns during his LSU career.
Williamson, a linebacker, had 296 career tackles at Kentucky. He produced more than 100 tackles each of the last two seasons.
The Titans now have agreed to terms with four of their six draft picks.
The only unsigned Titans draft picks are first-round selection Taylor Lewan and second-round choice Bishop Sankey. Lewan's an offensive tackle from Michigan and Sankey's a running back from Washington.
